Software & Driver Downloads

Instructions:

  1. Download the required Windows driver, Macintosh driver, SAP Device Types or Network Administration Utilities software (below) for your system.

  2. When the installation menu appears, click "Save File"(select your destination drive)

  3. To install: Place the file into an empty directory and run when download is complete. If you need assistance, please contact our Technical Support Center at (978) 212-7200.

    SAP Device Types

    Click below to download SAP Device Types for the Standard (PCL) Series of IntelliBar M48, M412, and M88 printers. Refer to Section 11 of the IntelliBar Programmers Reference Manual for SAP Device Type installation and user instructions. Note: M44 printers are not supported with SAP Device Types.

    Note: Installation may require the use of a compression/decompression program such as: PKZip for Unix and OS/400 machines.


    Network Administration Utilities

    • ExtendNet - Connect for TCP/IP - ExtendNet Connect is a software utility that allows simple, direct, TCP/IP printing from your computer to a printer attached to IntelliBar Net11 wireless printers. This utility requires that the Net11 print server be configured for TCP/IP. There are two versions of ExtendNet:

      • ExtendNet Connect for TCP/IP (Windows 95/98/ME)

      • ExtendNet Connect for TCP/IP (Windows NT/2000/XP)

      • - Note: HP JetAdmin is obsolete and has been replaced by HP webJetAdmin.


      • NetBIOS Port Monitor - A port monitor that installs on Windows 95/98/NT and OS/2 computers. This port monitor acts like a local printer port and operates transparently with all Windows software.

      • PrintaNet - A software driver for Windows 9X, ME, and NT that allows a PC user at one location to a send print job via a text e-mail to an IntelliBar Net printer at a remote location across the Internet in a simple and transparent manner. The E-mail will be automatically printed on the printer without the need to run an E-mail program at the remote site.


      • TFTPD - Simple stand-alone java-based TFTP server for an OS without built-in TFTP server support (e.g., Windows). Used for upgrading IntelliBar Net Series printer firmware via network or Internet download.


      • WP-ADMIN - A software utility required for configuring the 802.11b wireless settings and TCP/IP settings of the IntelliBar Net11 Series wireless network printers. WP-Admin can als be used to configure the TCP/IP settings of IntelliBar Net Series and IntelliBar Net10 Series printers.


      • - WebXAdmin allows the user to configure IntelliBar Net print servers with a standard web browser like Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer on any operating system that supports web browser capabilities. No additional software is needed on the system. Simply type the IP address into your web browser address bar to connect.

      • IntelliBar Net printers work transparently with the HP Web JetAdmin utility. HP Web JetAdmin is a simple peripheral management software for remotely installing, configuring, and managing a wide variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals using only a standard Web browser. It can be used to proactively solve problems before they impact user productivity.


      • XAdmin16 - This 16-bit version works on Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 for NetWare and Banyan VINES. To configure a print server, double click on its name and enter the password (ACCESS is the default password). A series of "index cards" will be displayed. Each of these "cards" represents a protocol or other configurable item. Click on the appropriate tab to configure the item.


      • xadmin32 Xadmin32 - A graphical utility for configuration and management of Wireless print Servers. There are two versions available: This 32-bit version works on either Windows NT or Windows 95/98 using the TCP/IP or IPX/SPX protocols. To configure a print server, double click on its name and enter the password (ACCESS is the default password). A series of "index cards" will be displayed. Each of these "cards" represents a protocol or other configurable item. Click on the appropriate tab to configure the item.


      • XCONFIG - XConfig NetWare utilityWireless printer server command-line oriented console for configuration and management. This console contains features that are not available through XAdmin or WebXAdmin, including sophisticated diagnostic capabilities. The wireless print server console can be accessed via TELNET, DEC NCP/NCL/ccr, the print server serial port (if present), and the Wireless XConfig NetWare utility. It also available through one of the web pages using the WebXAdmin facility. The general configuration procedure is the same regardless of which method is used.
