The IntelliBar M48 AS printer is designed for high quality, moderate to high volume label production with IBM AS/400 and i-Series computer systems that use the IBM AFP/IPDS printing utilities. The M48 AS is capable of printing 4.25" wide labels with 300 x 300 dpi print resolution at print speeds of 8 inches per second (the equivalent of forty-four letter size pages per minute). Whether your requirement is for asset management, WIP tracking, health care management, pharmaceutical labeling, IC chip labeling, product identification, packing and shipping labels, or any label application, the IntelliBar M48 AS will get the job done fast and with excellent print quality.

Connectivity - the IntelliBar Advantage.  IntelliBar AS Series printers use the Advanced Function Printing/Intelligent Printing Data Stream (AFP/IPDS) protocol, IBM's industry-standard AS/400 printer language, to provide excellent print quality for bar codes, scalable fonts and graphics. The IntelliBar AS Series is fully compliant with AFP/IPDS protocols and supports all eight IPDS Towers. AS Series printers also support the IBM SCS IBM EBCDIC, HP PCL5 and HP GL2 languages. The ethernet interface makes for quick and easy integration into any AS/400 network configuration.
