The IntelliBar Net11 an 802.11a/b/g wireless connectivity upgrade for IntelliBar Net100 configured printers (M48 Net100, M412 Net100 and M88 Net100 and "E" export models). Note: installation of an IntelliBar Net11 option requires that an IntelliBar Net100 option, Item #301-020, be first installed in the printer.
The IntelliBar Net11 option consists of three components:
- an 802.11a/b/g radio PCMICA module
- a coaxial RF cable
- an antenna assembly

The Net11b/g MiniPCI radio card module easily installs in the IntelliBar Net100 PCB via a standard mini-PCI connector . The antenna assembly mounts through the pre-existing mounting hole in the rear cover of the printer and is connected to the radio with the coaxial cable. Once installed, the option is configured and monitored using one of a number of powerful network management utilities.
Note: The IntelliBar Net11 a/b/g option is user-installable on IntelliBar Net100 printers that were produced after March 2003. Printers produced prior to March 2003 that were upgraded to IntelliBar Net100 configurations require replacement of the rear cover with the purchase of a modified rear cover plate (Item #222-468) that is designed to accept the IntelliBar Net11 antenna mount. Alternatively, the printer can be returned to IntelliTech International for factory upgrading.

Rotary Label Cutter

The Model 2411 Rotary Label Cutter is a factory installed option for IntelliBar M88 Series printers. The Model 2411 is a heavy-duty rotary label cutter that is designed to cut through label, adhesive and release liner laminates of paper or synthetic materials. The cutter mounts on the front panel of the printer and is housed in protective heavy-duty metal enclosure. The Model 2411 cutter is designed for users with demanding label-cutting requirements that require one or more preprinted labels to be applied at another time or location. The IntelliBar printer can be programmed to print any number of labels and then perform the cut function.
The Model 2411 cutter will cut label laminates up to 0.010"/0.25 mm thick. The maximum cut width is 8.86"/225 mm, mimimum cut interval is 1.2"/30 mm and the cut cycle time is 0.8 seconds. If used with the proper media and as specified, the cutter will reliably perform a minimum of 1.5 million cut cycles.

External Rewinders

Model 2403 & 2412

The Model 2403 115V external rewinder and the Model 2412 230V external rewinder are user-installable options for IntelliBar M88 and M88E series printers. The rewinder mounts in front of the printer and rewinds labels as they are printed. The Model 2403 and Model 2412 rewinders can be used to preprint larger quantities of labels for convenient storage or application at another location or time.

The
IntelliBar Net100 internal print server option provides Ethernet 10/100BaseT connectivity for all IntelliBar M48, M412 and M88 Standard Series HP PCL printers. The IntelliBar Net100 is a factory installable option. Once installed the IntelliBar Net100 option is configured and monitored using one of a number of powerful network management utilities.
The IntelliBar Net100 option is "wireless ready" with a PCMCIA slot for accepting the IntelliBar Net11 802.11a/b/g wireless radio option, Item #301-015.

Reflective Label Sensor

The Model 2414 senses a pre-printed black stripe on the back of the release liner or a black stripe pre-printed directly on the back of the media in the case of tag or ticket stock. The Model 2414 replaces the standard transmissive (see-through) home position label sensor and is used to set the home position (first print line) on the label.

Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD)

The Model 2416 Vacuum
Fluorescent Display (VFD) is a factory installed option that offers enhanced
visabilty over the standard LCD display for all IntelliBar series printers.
The Model 2416 VFD projects a very bright image and is ideal for low light
environments where the display must be viewed from a distance or where a
wide display viewing angle is required.
