The IntelliBar Net11 an 802.11a/b/g wireless connectivity upgrade for IntelliBar Net100 configured printers (M48 Net100, M412 Net100 and M88 Net100 and "E" export models). Note: installation of an IntelliBar Net11 option requires that an IntelliBar Net100 option, Item #301-020, be first installed in the printer.
The IntelliBar Net11 option consists of three components:
- an 802.11a/b/g radio PCMICA module
- a coaxial RF cable
- an antenna assembly

The Net11b/g MiniPCI radio card module easily installs in the IntelliBar Net100 PCB via a standard mini-PCI connector . The antenna assembly mounts through the pre-existing mounting hole in the rear cover of the printer and is connected to the radio with the coaxial cable. Once installed, the option is configured and monitored using one of a number of powerful network management utilities.
Note: The IntelliBar Net11 a/b/g option is user-installable on IntelliBar Net100 printers that were produced after March 2003. Printers produced prior to March 2003 that were upgraded to IntelliBar Net100 configurations require replacement of the rear cover with the purchase of a modified rear cover plate (Item #222-468) that is designed to accept the IntelliBar Net11 antenna mount. Alternatively, the printer can be returned to IntelliTech International for factory upgrading.

Standard Label Cutter |

The standard label cutter is a user-installable option for IntelliBar M48 and M412 Series printers. It is designed to cut the paper or synthetic label and the release liner, that is, the paper or synthetic label backing of the label. The cutter mounts inside the front panel in place of the standard peel-off assembly. This internal mounting protects the user from the cutting blade and leaves the front of the printer uncluttered, free and clear of snagging protrusions. This cutter is designed for users who require one or more preprinted labels to be applied at another time or location. The IntelliBar printer can be programmed to print any number of labels and then perform the cut function.
The standard label cutter will cut label and backing up to 0.006" thick. If used with the proper media and as specified, the cutter will reliably perform a minimum of one million cut cycles

Label Liner Cutter |

The label liner cutter is a
user-installable option for IntelliBar M48 and M412 Series printers. It is designed to cut the label release liner, that is, the paper
or synthetic label backing of the label. The cutter is not
intended to cut through the label and adhesive. It is only designed to cut
the backing. The cutter mounts inside the front panel in place of
the standard peel-off assembly. This internal mounting protects the user
from the cutting blade and leaves the front of the printer with a clean
appearance, free and clear of snagging protrusions. This cutter is designed
for users who require one or more preprinted labels to be applied at another
time or location. The IntelliBar printer can be programmed to print any
number of labels and then perform the cut function.
The label liner cutter will cut label backing up to 0.005" thick.
If used with the proper media and as specified, the cutter will reliably
perform a minimum of 300,000 cut cycles.

External Rewinder |

The external rewinder is a user-installable 115V option for IntelliBar M48 and M412 Series printers. The rewinder mounts in front of the printer and rewinds labels as they are printed. The can be used to preprint and rewind larger quantities of labels for convenient storage or application at another location or time.

The
IntelliBar Net100 internal print server option provides Ethernet 10/100BaseT connectivity for all IntelliBar M48, M412 and M88 Standard Series HP PCL printers. The IntelliBar Net100 is a factory installable option. Once installed the IntelliBar Net100 option is configured and monitored using one of a number of powerful network management utilities.
The IntelliBar Net100 option is "wireless ready" with a PCMCIA slot for accepting the IntelliBar Net11 802.11a/b/g wireless radio option, Item #301-015.

Internal Rewinder |

This factory installable option mounts inside the
IntelliBar and can be used to rewind backing material for convenient
storage or transportation of labels in volume quantity. You can also use
the rewinder option to spool only the backing paper in peel-off print mode
(for Models 48/48E and 412/412E).

Reflective Label Sensor |

The reflective label
sensor is a factory installable option for IntelliBar M48 and M412 printers.
The reflective sensor is typically used in conjunction with
continuous media, butt-cut labels or specialty die-cut labels. The senses a pre-printed black stripe on the back of the release liner or a black stripe pre-printed directly on the back of the media in the case of tag or ticket stock. The replaces the standard transmissive (see-through) home
position label sensor and is used to set the home position (first print
line) on the label.

Vacuum Fluorescent Display
(VFD) |

The Vacuum
Fluorescent Display (VFD) is a factory installed option that offers enhanced
visibility over the standard LCD display for all IntelliBar series printers.
The VFD projects a very bright image and is ideal for low light
environments where the display must be viewed from a distance or where a
wide display viewing angle is required.
